North Carolina Apple Festival
CELEBRATE NATURE

Greetings!

During September and October our focus at The (R)evolving Arts Gallery is nature. We kick it off on Friday, September 4 – September 7 during the NC Apple Festival, a tradition in Historic Hendersonville for more than 60 years. We will remain open late Friday and Saturday. Sunday and Labor Day we will have shorter hours.  Come celebrate nature’s inspiration and please continue to support one of a kind handmade original fine art and craft from our local and southeast regional artists.  We will have artists demonstrations throughout the weekend and surprise “festival specials” each day.

Our new “nature” artist joining us is award-winning Christina Paluszek, custom jewelry designer-artisan.  Come experience a whimsical Enchanted Forest where you can experience the faeries, wood sprites, flora, fauna and find your way to the Serenity Garden.  It’s a magical experience.

Please welcome our new local revolving artist in September, Meghan Bernard of Hendersonville.  September conjures up a hint of fall in the air and a perfect time to enjoy a cup of tea.  Come see Meghan’s exclusive line of “tea bags” to have at your next tea party or, for you collectors of hand built ceramics, these are one of kind and fully functional.   Meghan’s selected non-profit is the Empty Bowls project she created at North Hendersonville High School for the “Hungry Backpacks” program.

For over 20+ years Julie and David have had a commitment to community through their own business Desert Moon Designs. With the expanded new gallery the philosophy remains the same.   For every purchase you make the gallery donates a percentage of the sale to go to our artist’s selected non-profits and charitable organizations.  Building community one day at a time!

Grand Opening Event

The (R)evolving Arts Gallery Newsletter Logo CCFriday night August 7th, we celebrated with many of the gallery’s artists and over seven hundred of our new and old friends. The Grand Opening was the talk of downtown into the next day.

What a night!!!

While visitors sipped and munched, “al dente”, a new Hendersonville jazz group provided music and Karen Eve Bayne, storyteller presented several contemporary stories.

Art-School Supplies “Fun” Raiser
Thank You!
Whimsey Hats

During our Grand Opening and throughout August, The (R)evolving Arts Gallery has been collecting art-school supplies for several elementary schools in Henderson County. Thanks to encaustic artist Mary Farmer, who created whimsical “happy” hats to sell during the Grand Opening. Many of our artists, customers, friends and visitors have made contributions for our underserved children. Due to your generous spirits we have distributed scissors, 24 Ct. Crayolas, notebooks, paper, glue sticks, washable markers, #2 pencils and colored pencils to Sugarloaf, Edneyville and Hillandale Elementary schools. We hope to collect even more supplies through the Labor Day weekend, so please continue to bring these items into the Gallery. Gift certificates are welcome.

Together we can make a difference!
